For People Who Love To Garden

June In Bloom: Cerinthe

The cerinthe was quite the phenomenon of Peg's garden this year. She grew both purple and this less common yellow variety, and both did extremely well in a sunny, southern location. A more exotic garden plant, if you're adventurously inclined. The name means 'wax flower,' due to its attractiveness to bees. [Hull, MA - June 1, 2000]
