The aruncus, also known as Goat's Beard, is a shrubby thing with interesting sprays of flowers against dark foliage. The white spikes tend to be dramatic especially in the semi-shade where Peg grows this, along with a mammoth angelica and a lot of plants with lime-colored foliage. [Hull, MA - June 1, 2000]
