For People Who Love To Garden

March 08, 2009

Welcome to Gardener's Path. Here in the northeast, only the crocuses are blooming but the daffodils aren't far behind. Starting to see leaves on our lilacs, and lots of action in the perennial beds. And the cat has been having a field day (so to speak) catching everything that comes out of this winter's crop of mole holes! Enjoy the site.

We have a new pair of reviews up in Book Reviews. This month, we're featuring the landscape gardening of Van Sweden and Oehme, creators of the New American Style. And also Garden Stone: Creative Landscaping With Plants and Stone for people who enjoy (the results of) heavy lifting.

Feeling the economic pinch? Looking for alternatives to pesticide? Consider beneficial insects with the The Organic Gardener.

Garden and Yard clean up and junk removal.

And finally, visit Over The Fence for lots more gardening articles.

You'll find assorted fun gardening gizmos in the Toolshed including our Tic Tac Grow game, good for a chuckle. Also, we've loaded a few more plants in the Plant Guide.

Our picture of the month is above—fancy fragrant narcissus in bloom.
