The editors of Gardener's Path spend a lot of
time looking at web sites, and we really love
visiting exceptional gardening sites. If you
would like us to consider your site for this
award, please read on.
We have a specific set of criteria that we
use to evaluate a web site and the Green Ribbon
site award goes only to sites that we think
satisfy the selection criteria:
- The site is of direct interest to gardeners.
- The site has genuinely useful or interesting
content that is freely accessible to all site
visitors.
- The site is not just an e-commerce venture,
advertising front, or Amazon outlet.
- The site has a spark of originality, imagination,
and/or passion.
- The site is well designed, enjoyable to
visit, and attractive OR the site has such
great and compelling content that we are willing
to overlook certain things.
- The site does not spawn ugly pop-up windows
every time you click something.
- The site does not crash your browser.
