Watch all your seedlings come up and try to remember what they are.
- Water, feed, and tend your new outdoor plants. Don't forget to thin your seedlings!
- Enjoy the riotous show nature is putting on, as trees become leaved in mere hours, and flowers replace flowers replace flowers.
- Start late season outdoor seeds like basil and portulaca.
- Buy container herbs such as thyme, mint, lemon balm, and sage.
- Try not to overcrowd your beds, tempting though it is to buy every pretty plant we see.
- Begin thinking about bulb cover. Fast growing flowering plants like chamomile, calendula, godetia, and malcolmia can be nice.
- Take a walk in the woods to see what the wild flowers are up to.
- Weed, weed, weed...
- Open the windows and let the fresh air in.
